Salsa & Merengue at Tanglen

Last week, during a Neighborhood Day, fifth- and sixth-graders at Tanglen Elementary moved and grooved as they learned salsa and merengue. The activity was a great opportunity for the students to learn a new skill and build friendship at the same time. 

Neighborhood Days happen throughout the year. The aim is to foster community and connection through special cross-classroom activities.
